Story Sticks

To help get ideas for stories, we made story sticks. To start, we read picture books with a partner. We made a list of the settings, characters, problem, and one other detail we wanted to include. Each category was written on a different colour Popsicle stick. They then had to choose one stick of each colour and make up a new story based on what it said. Needless to say there was lots of laughter!
