Mr. Stauffer was kind enough to bring in the owl that has been in his family for 60 years! We couldn't believe the size of it.

Skating round 2

We had a great second trip out for skating. I even put on skates for the first time in 30 years! My parents told me tonight that that must have been a waste of money for figure skating lessons in grade 3!

Blowing the stink off!

When my brother and I were little and would be full of energy, my mother would tell us to go outside and blow the stink off. Although she hopefully didn't mean it literally, as a mother I now appreciate how important it is sometimes to just stop what you're doing and go outside to get some fresh air. The result on the children's focus is immediate! We did this today.
