Dissecting an Owl Pellet!

We were very happy to have Mr. Dunnett come and help us to dissect an owl pellet in our class.  It was really exciting and informative.  I could not believe what we found! 
After picking through the fur, feathers, and hair, we found almost four entire skeletons!  This means that owl ate four animals that day.  Wow!  We also identified each of the bones that we found.
Thank you also to Mr. Steeves for videotaping our entire session.  I hope to show the students the finished product soon!
