Decorating Cupcakes
Well, thanks to some help from Angela Richard and her lovely daughter Sarah, we were able to complete our cupcake decorating. Thank you to all of the parents who sent in supplies/ingredients to do this.
Math- Spill the beans!
We are working on different combinations of numbers. The students had to spill out their cup of "beans" (two-sided counters) and count how many red sides and how many white sides there were. They then had to write it as an adding sentence. Ex: 2 red + 6 white= 8. This is really a grade one outcome but my kindergarten students were great at it!
