Our Gorgeous Leaves

First, we cut leaves from cardstock paper.  Then we put them in a large ziploc baggie.  I dropped three drops of paint in on top of them and zipped them closed.  The students then went to work patting down the paint to cover the leaf.  After removing them from the baggie and letting them dry, they turned out beautiful!
I only had one mistake- they weren't quite dry enough when I mounted them on the black paper so it bled through a little.  Oh, well, makes them look more like leaves in nature!
