Knowing the order

An important part of being able to find words on the word wall, and eventually in a personal dictionary, is knowing the order of the letters of the alphabet.  Most children can sing the alphabet song but it is always interesting when you give them letters out of order.  Listening in on their conversations, I heard lots of talk of what letter belongs where.  We used different types of letters to complete this task.
