Anytime foods vs. Sometimes Foods

We talked about Canada's food guide and what each of the food groups contain.  We designed our own meals for a day in order to have enough food from each group.  Then we went through flyers and decided which foods were anytime foods and which were sometimes foods.  We worked in partners.  Here are some samples of our work!

Earth Day Cleanup

RES celebrated Earth Day on April 20th.  All of our classes worked together to clean up around the school.  The kindergarten classes got to go on the nature trail!  It was very exciting and we saw flowers, birds, bugs, and different kinds of trees.  But we also saw garbage.  We were disappointed to see what people were choosing to throw into our woods.
