Watercolour Kites

It was a multi-step process, but we made a beautiful product.  First, we had to paint the background to show the sky.  Then we painted our kites.  We glued the kites onto the background and drew the strings.  They turned out great!

This first one is really meant for the grade ones to practice their basic adding facts to 20.  However, I have to say, my kindergarten students are doing very well with it!

Cloudy With A Chance of.........

After reading the book "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs", we each decided on our own food we would like it to rain!  There was everything from ice cream, caramel, cheese, etc.
